if you are willing to wait, it would much rather upgrade your GPU. depending on what games and what settings you play at, upgrading the gpu will give you higher increases in fps for less money since a platform upgrade requires new cpu, mobo (200 + 100 = US$300).

when prices come back down for GPUs, you can get a 3060 and then sell your old rx570 which would cost (350 - 100 = US$250).

btw, love the username

should i move to amd or stick with intel ?

i am on a budget

Stick with intel, a 10700f 8 core is cheaper than a 5600x 6 core whilst having 2 more cores and still having decent single core

And a decent b460 board like a b460 torpedo should be enough, though make sure your board supports multi core enhancement cause that increases performance significantly cause power limits yeeted, or you can use throttlestop and yeet limits that way

Maybe upgrade the CPU if you want, Like getting a i5 10400f or 11400f is still a solid middle range CPU, Otherwise maybe getting better GPU soon after the GPU shortage ended
