Asrock b450m pro4

Corsair lpx vegeance ddr4 2x8 3200 mhz

This is my first pc that i built yesterday, i was trying to change my ram speed from the base speed 2133 to 3200 but for some reason when im trying to load xmp it eont save the profile created.

Also everytime i save bios settings and restart my pc, the pc makes the 3 beeps and turns off then does the same thing 3 times then boots normally.

I'd suggest doing it step by step, be more conservative.

Look with CPU-Z or Aida64 at the profiles stored in the ram sticks, and pick some lower presets like 2666 Mhz , 2800 mhz -ish , 2933 Mhz , 3000 Mhz

The sticks most likely also need 1.35v instead of 1.2v so make sure that's set in bios.

Get it working with lower frequencies, and go up from there.  Could be that being an older Zen2 cpu (1600 AF) and a cheaper end motherboard, it doesn't like the 3200 Mhz frequency, but maybe it doesn't mind 3000 Mhz or a bit less than that. Would still be better than 2133 Mhz which is the default.

Also check and see if there are bios updates which improve memory compatibility or add something useful to you.

Also, ensure you have the RAM in the correct slots. It's usually 2 and 4 counting from the CPU side, but consult your mobo manual to be sure.
