Jim Metz, 62, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He knew he didn’t have a lot of time in his hands. Along side him is his 11-year-old daughter,Josie. Jim realized that Josie will never be able to experience walking down the isle with her dad when she get’s married.

 

He did not get her married at 11, instead Jim and his wife Grace hired a Photographer,Lindsey Villatoro-founder of  Love Song Photography to picture the memorable event of Josie walking down the isle with her dad. Lindsey even took the trouble to give Josie the whole nine yards: flowers, desserts, a promise ring and a dress from L.A. Fashion Week!

A truly sad sight to see and makes u value your own parents and realize how hard it would be without them…

This is truly heartbreaking but the real question is why did this man have a child at the age of 51? That was extremely unfair to her. By the time she's 20 he'll be in poor health (assuming he didn't have cancer).

Luckily she has a caring parent, both of mine are pretty worthless I wouldn't miss either of them if they died tomorrow to be honest.
