but for your monitor if you are a super competitive I would suggest going with a cheaper one like this https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/ZLrRsY/viewsonic-vx2458-p-mhd-236-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-vx2458-p-mhd

if you are just a normal gamer then I suggest this one https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/cFH8TW/msi-optix-g271-270-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-optix-g271

I've been needing an upgrade for a while now, instead of just upgrading my current pc I was going to completely rebuild. (My PC is very old and wouldn't be worth just getting one component)

I've played around for a bit on PcPartPicker and done a bit of research, unfortunately i don't have the utmost faith in my ability to get matching components, or to not over spend on parts.

This isn't a build for now but the near future (a happy place where you can get GPUs at msrp,) but if anyone could help and just give me some feedback or improvements i could make i would very much appreciate it.

builds looks good to me, nicely balanced build

my only recommendation is to go with a 2TB hard drive, because its a better price point. ie, for $32 you get 1tb but for $44 you get 2tb (only $12 more)
