Will a 650 Watt PSU be enough for a 3070ti and a i9-10850k Stock?

NTDaws

Sup fellas,

Quick question, I am currently using a 3060ti and a i9 10850k. I came across a good deal for a 3070ti and I think I want to get it. My question is if a 650Watt power supply will be able to handle the power draw, everything is currently stock. I do plan to upgrade the PSU to 1000 Watt down the road. That's it, thanks.

Ignore that, just read signature and you have a CXF650.

The CXF is a pretty decent budget unit. I would think that it would be ok as long as you leave everything at stock.

No reason to get a 1000 watt psu unless you plan on overclocking a 3090rtx

Corsair RMX750 has always been my go-to, but nabbed a RMX850 because of my beefy 5950x CPU

Yes, 650w should be enough for what you have, nvidia recommends 600w for the 3060ti.

The GPU are CPU are getting overclocked down the road, plus I will likely buy a 4090 if those are a thing eventually.
