It will definitely NOT work with a PCIe slot. It's much too old for it and AGP is incompatible with PCIe.

PCIe and AGP cards will differ in their connector.

Ah, so the bottom screw hole was for the low-profile, 16MB version of the card. I sometimes wondered why they put that there if they never used it.
