Will think build work, plz help

It will work. On a side note, are you pooping money?

About the PSU, I think you might consider something with a little more headroom. But I'm not an expert on PSUs.

Don't mean to be unhelpful but this is the same build you posted here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/135025-type-of-pc-needed-to-run-star-citizen-in-4k-or-3x1080p/#entry1795942

but with changed cards and with a more expensive ssd.

Just post the updated link in the original post and let people keep giving opinions on the changes rather than making a new thread every time you change a component :)

ps: i think the cooler of those cards is in fact too tall and takes 2.5 pci slots (if not 3).

[spoiler=pc specs:]cpu: i5-4670k | mobo: z87-pro | cpu cooler: h100i | ram: 8gb vengeance pro | gpu: gtx770 ftw 4gb | case: nzxt switch 810 matte black | storage: 240gb ssd; 1tb hdd | psu: 750w corsair rm |

It'll work.
I'd recommend maybe a higher quality cpu cooler though, such as the H110
only a suggestion
and yeah are you shitting out money, holy fuck 6.5k.

Actually yeah it's a tri slot
and that PSU isn't capable of handling that much power, get a 1500watt.

You wont be able to play Star Citizen in 4K or any game at all with the current GPU technology. It's simply too heavy to run.

Asus

R9290X-DC2OC-4GD5 will this work in 4 way cross fire

not with those GPU's they are too big in size. but really if you have money to buy 4 290x you can buy 1 TITAN Z :P it will be as good if not better than 3 of those if not all 4 :)

Ummmmm youy will not be able to fit those GPU's in that case they are tripple slot cards

unless you plan to water cool then also 4-Cross fire doesn't offer good scaling compared to 3 and 2 way

Also were are those better fans you are going to need to get enough fresh air in and hot air out

you will need very high CFM fans to keep that cool

Consider water cooling those cards if you still want to run 4 of then

Also wat the hell are you building this rig for?>>?????!!!!!

IntelCorei54670k,Maximus VI Formula,Swift tech H220, 16gigs Corsair Dominator platinums, Asus DCUII GTX 780,1x256 840 evo, 1x 2TB Segate barracuda, Corsair AX 860,

3 X Noctua NF-F12, 2x Noctua NF A-14, Ducky Shine 3 Blue Leds Blue switches, Razer Death Adder 2012, Corsair vengence 1400

Damn . If i had your enthusiasm...( and green $tuff ) . Best is wait for next extreme edition intel this year , then build a nice rig with decent gpu for the moment ( preferably single gpu , maybe a 780 ti ) then when star citizen alpha/beta/whatever comes out and we get an idea of what you'll need( maybe 2 gtx880 , maybe 100 titan Z ) , buy the cream for the delicious pie ( if you know what i mean ). It's not worth buying 4 r9 290x now , there WILL be something better in the future
