Does it matter if I separate screen layers?

akranjc71

I tried to repair a Samsung J3 and it booted fine with a new screen from Amazon, but I accidentally separated the last two layers and it doesn't boot anymore. Is this why? 20210622_221644.thumb.jpg.51305432eee020215ee0207b922af3dd.jpg

Looks like cheap lcd replacement, on pictures it's just backlight, so if you didn't damaged screen(you will be able to see if you damaged screen if there is any crack under the glass) or flex(cable or whatever you want to call it) it should work fine
