Hey everybody, sorry if this is in the wrong section or something.

As the topic title says, I need help finding a custom PC builder. I was going to go with Cyberpower but I feel like the amount of negative reviews outweigh the amount of positive views. However, if most people here say to go with Cyberpower then I will.

Onto why I am not building this PC by myself. My family doesn't trust me to build it.

I already have a list of parts that I put together using PCPartPicker.com.

What custom PC building company can do this at around the same price?

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/JamesFlint/saved/4eVc     (I chose the parts I did for a reason, however I am open to suggestions for part changes.)

The price will obviously change but at the time of writing this the price is 1,527.28 USD. (Already up $10 from yesterday night when I put it together).

Thanks in advance.

Contact your local computer store. They'll probably do a decent job. If you do that, ask them to try your pc right after they built it, so if it's broken, they'll have to pay for it.

I myself am using it for gaming and schoolwork but the rest of my family will use it for god knows what. The budget is around $1,500.

Get a 4670k and a smaller psu. And get a 780 instead of the 770, you'll see a great improvement.

AVA and Digital Storm are the only 2 I would buy from if I was going to have someone build for me. The Selection of AVA is not what it use to be but still better then most. Digital Storm's selection is not great at all however what you can pick from is solid. Don't fall in love with specific parts if you are going to have something pre-built, see what you can pick from with the builders.

You could hire me to do it :P

EDIT: Here is a build I would suggest http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3kXAW

I'm going to take a guess that because your family doesn't trust you to build the PC yourself. That you will not be Overclocking. THUS a 4670K is not needed. Nor would i recommend spending he extra money to buy a "K" series chip just for the sake of either A) having one or B) for the sake of overclocking later down the line. Thus here is what i would suggest for you:

I'm taking into account the Taxes rating in your state, I'm going to roughly say you have about 1400 dollars to work with after TAX. After building of the machine, I'd say perhaps 1300-1350. So here i have laid out a build i would recommend for that price bracket:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 -Non K. Quad Core CPU : $220

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ EVO : $35   -The reason behind this is because you do not want the noisy Intel stock cooler.

Motherboard: ASUS H87-PLUS LGA 1150 Motherboard : $115-Well rounded motherboard. Solid to keep the build going for years.

RAM: G-Skill Ares 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600Mhz : $70

Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD : $90 - Amazing SSD

Storage Con't: 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM : $60

GPU: ASUS GTX 770 2GB : $320

Case: Fractal Design R4 Black Pearl : $80

PSU: Corsair RM650W PSU : $120

Generic DVD drive: Whatever is cheapest. Usually the 20 dollar ASUS ones are more than enough

OS: Windows 7/8/8.1 Whatever you prefer. There is about $170 Left in the budget. Home Premium is more than enough. I suggest Windows 8.1.

With the OS I would highly recommend just getting an OEM Windows 8.1 x64, You can get them for about 100-120 bucks. With all the parts and given Windows 8.1. You'd be looking at roughly $1250. That leaves about 150 dollars for the building of the PC/ If you need Mouse/Keyboard/Wifi card.

That's just what i would do.

Thanks!

I would also add, You state you live in New York. I'm guessing that there might be a Microcenter Near by. GO THERE. They are all over the state, and you will by far get the best deal by going there.

At that price you really should get an SSD, maybe something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3l13n

Went down a few motherboard models to squeeze in an SSD, also dropped the WD black to a barracuda. Assuming you're only using the HDD for storage a barracuda will be fine.

The HDD will have games on it, along with my school work and just other general stuff.

Also, I was just about to ask about the motherboard so thanks for that.

If thats all you're using your HDD for then a WD black would be overpriced for what you're doing, If you want me to build this for you I'll PM details etc.
