Please can someone share PC parts for a custom rig that can be used for 1080pgaming and can have GPU support for later(after GPU prices are normalised).

also please share thoughts on PC processor Ryzen or Intel 11th gen.

Total cost < ₹60,000/- (~$800)

Please reply with any PC part picker build that you might find helpful.

I'd definitely go ryzen as their apus are multitudes more powerful than intels. Something like a 5400g will allow you to game at 1080, but you'll have to turn the graphics down to low-medium settings on many AAA titles.

Intel iGPU (even 11gen) pretty much worthless for gaming, so there is that.

The Ryzen 5 5600G isn't really available yet for DIY but you might still find some on offer from sellers that may or may not be reliable (really haven't searched much yet).

Going that way (even if it means going prebuild or waiting till August) does have some benefits:

- it is decent GPU (watch Gamers Nexus video for benchmarks) compared to affordable dGPUs

- the CPU has a lot of headroom in gaming, so if you do get dGPU later you will be able to utilize it fully

- if you in another step upgrade the CPU you will be able to go further than with Intel

Even I thought so... but the APUs are not so easily available here in India

Is this cost gonna be firm including GPU, or just pure usable PC without a GPU for basic office use until you got a GPU that youll save up with more of your money? Because for the latter, imo this is the best you can do at about 800$ for now. Unless you wanna wait for those rumored 5000G series, you cant go wrong with these.

Except 11700k and above does run Xe 750 graphics which is... Mediocre for medium on old AAA titles. But by that stage might as well muster about on ebay and amazon for someone to drop a 4750G listing.

The Xe found on desktop CPUs has awful performance due to the lack of EUs. Even a tiger lake i3 has more EUs (48 vs 32), with the i5 having 80 EUs and the i7 having 96 EUs (3x more!).

I swear to god all i find is saying it was okay enough. But really, what do we expect from an iGPU?

Well the 5600G isn't easily available anywhere yet.... on eBay I found 1 HP prebuild (in New Jersey USA) and when I checked a few days ago there was 1 offer on amazon for about MSRP (279$) after considering exchange rates and VAT (seller located in Germany, but now it's gone).

The older APUs are available but not at attractive prices so IMO a little bit of patience might be in order.

There is off course also the question how much of your 800$ budget will be eaten up by tariffs and taxes (I've heard those are quite high in Indie).

That's because the apus hes talking about aren't available for the diy market.

The 5600g is a great cpu(look at the gamers Nexus review), I'd get that when it comes out.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I don't expect anything to be quite honest, that's why I wouldn't recommend it to OP.

The OP has to set their expectations a bit more realistically, no available desktop iGPU will be good enough for 1080p, unless you turn all of the settings down.

5400g doesn’t exist, and the amd apus are very hard to get for a fair price these days. get an intel 11th gen processor instead like the 11500.

Gaming PC:

CPU- Intel Core i5-10400 (planning to upgrade when Alder Lake releases)

CPU Cooler- be quiet! Dark Rock Slim up to 180W TDP

Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix B460-h Gaming

Memory- Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000 CL15 memory

Storage- Crucial P2 1TB M.2-NVME SSD up to 2400 MB/s

Video Card- MSI Ventus 2x Geforce RTX 3060 Ti OC

PC Chassis- Cooler Master TD500 MESH ARGB with Controller

Power Supply- EVGA 650w P2 (planning to upgrade to EVGA 80+ Gold 1k watts)

Rear Fan- Touchaqua Bitspower Notos RGB fan

Monitor- Acer EI272UR 2560x1440 144hz 4ms Radeon Freesync monitor

Keyboard- Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Mouse- Logitech G203 Lightsync (planning to upgrade to g502 HERO)

Controller- Xbox One Wireless Controller - Red

LaptopProcessor- Ryzen 7 4700U (8c/8t up to 4.1Ghz) with Radeon graphics, 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, 512 NVME SSD

Which will deliver a great gaming experience in Minesweeper and not much else.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

@SUPERmanVK

Depends on what kind of games you're playing. Here's an actual test of 11500 in a few games, using 1080p resolution:

Fortnite (low graphics): 40ish FPS

League of Legends (highest graphics): 100FPS

Dota 2 (medium): 100FPS

CS:GO (medium): mediocre performance

GTA V (normal): 40+ FPS

Apex Legends: 30+ FPS

Rainbow Six Siege: playable but 30+ FPS

PUBG: not playable on 1080p

So games that are optimised for running on the CPU will do better than others that aren't.

I meant 5600g...it's hard to keep up with the subtle model number changes.

Any Ideas on a PC build for multitasking(browsing , programming etc.) as well as Gaming(titles such as CS go, GTA V, Fortnite, PUBG etc...).

Should I go for intel or AMD ryzen (GPU definitely to be added by 2021 end mostly 3060ti)... and should I wait to build this new PC for Q3 of 2021 or can build be done in these times(without GPU).

get that, if you can find that in stock. backup option would be the intel i5-11500.

@Middcore look at this

the 11500 is not a bad place holder till you get a discrete card. but i recommend 5600g first.
