Ryzen 5 pro 4600G mobo and drivers.

I'm buying a standalone Ryzen 5 pro 4600G because I want a good cpu along with a good iGPU due to the current shortages. Only issue is with it being an obscure chip, at least in diy market, I'm not sure about mobo support and drivers. I haven't looked into drivers at all but I assume that there's some out there. As for a motherboard I'm hoping that any old b550 or b450 will support it.

Honestly i'd wait 2 months for the 5600G to come out.

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

Iirc only b550 support it, and in worst case scenario you probably have to update the bios on it

Not really Some boards have a bios flashback feature, you can look it up, basically a way to update the bios with only the motherboard, power supply and usb stick that already been downloaded wity the latest bios

In all seriousness tho, the 4000 series is basically "updated" version of 3000 series with apu, so I don't think it needs to be updated, yes you should update it, but by that i mean it's have high chance to be "ready to run" when you buy it
