Whats the best Android Emulator I can get that is similar to MEmu in how it works?

InfraDelta

I don't know why but MEmu just acts up and just plainly doesn't work for me.
I have reinstalled multiple times and at most the emulator lasts a few days, at least it lasts a few hours.

I have contacted their support team and their solutions have not worked at all.
In the process of trying to fix this, my PC game libraries (Steam and Epic Games Launcher), have gotten corrupted and I had to reinstall everything.

I am fed up with trying to use MEmu anymore.

I need an Android Emulator which I can install external apps, have root access and is emulating at least Android 7.1.
Multiple instances like in MEmu would be nice, but a way to export and backup a emulator is what I need, so that if it ever goes haywire, I can load up a backup and be fine.
Automation/Macro Recording is also what I need. As well as bindable controls, but most of emulators have 'em nowadays.

Have you tried android studio's official emulator?

I just took a look at it, and it seems to be too complicated for me.
I don't think I can do the Macro Recording with it natively and have to use other apps for automation.
There's alot that it does offer, but its too technical for me.

I think I will try it, but I remember dropping Bluestacks because it was simply a hassle back then, switched to Nox before going MEmu.
I think Game Guardian wont play nicely with it.

I use AVD (Android Virtual Devices) with Android Studio. It has a GUI. It is definitely more technical but it will always be the most functional platform since it is from Android itself.

Do you know of a tutorial in setting it up? That way I can follow it more closely.

No, sorry I don't have any to recommend. I learned how to use it from personal experimentation and Android Developer tutorials when I was building apps.

Well can you draft a quick and simple guide in setting up a simple android 7.1 emulator, assuming I have installed Android Studio already?
