MS news crap in the tray after update

Did a restart that was suposed to be something about updating .net and now I have a new icon in the tray with weather and a bunch of other crap when mousing over it and no clear way to get rid of it. If I try to go into it's settings, typical ms crap is hard coded to their browser instead of the one I set as default.

you can right click the meny bar, click on news or whatever it was.

Disable to select it, but yes it's very annoying (some can be useful) but feels like a breach of contract (not sure if it is though and the information gathering beforehand). Also not sure if "disable" actually disables it or what it did while enabled. To the browser stuff to change + the need for MS account, pls nerf.

Thank you. I was looking in settings, in startup and other places one would expect the option to be.

I manually hide every news source until I found the option to just hide it...

You have to right click on the taskbar, then disable news & interests, it really should be in the settings, but that news thing just seems like a thrown in feature. And it seems kinda pointless as you can use the weather app tile in the start menu.
