Great game, GREAT deal.  What's the bet most of EA don't know shit about this lol. Guess quite a few picked it up in the humble bundle...but we need dead space 2 free, I played the 1st and 3rd because of humble bundle.

Old, but still valid until May 8th. I honestly never thought I would start to warm up to Origin. EA's been doing a little better on the digital distribution platform lately, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

they are doing it, to attract more people to origin. Steam has been showing them how its done... and the only reason people are on origin is cuz of Battle Field 4 and some of the other titles not available on steam which are few.

I doubt it will work though :P . My guess would be that they want more poeple to play the first deadspace, that would attract more people to purchase the rest of deadspace games. But your reason sounds realistic as well.
