"ordered a waterblock from aliexpress" will be your problem right there. The chances of finding a semi decent block for a 2060 are unlikely, the card was only $300 and a decent water block is $100-$150 which means none of the proper manufactures聽bothered to design a block for it.聽

you can lie down the block and try to match it with the pcb from what i can see it should fit and the block didnt necessarily have to cover the entire pcb

in the 4th picture i see you didnt manage to match the block and pcb聽

again the block didnt聽 necessarily have to cover the entire pcb

You did look at the same pictures I'm looking right? Where the caps and whatnot would keep the block an inch or more off the die. The cutout on the block is on the completely wrong side.

The cutout for the caps is at the back on the block, while the caps are in fact at the front of the PCB. What should he do? flip it around having the terminal block poke through the mainboard and the mounting holes not aligning at all?

Well, that's indeed a shame (maybe the manufacturere changed PCB design mid production - happens. The 1080Ti Mini for exmaple had 4 PCB revisions with different cap placings - though not that dramatically. However, it's a 2060. Nobody reputable bothers to make a proper block for those lower midrange cards. You can try one of those universal brackets with AiOs.
