Birthday gift for my nephew - now finished

My brother asked me for help in building a PC for his sons 12th birthday this summer. 

The budget was 1000eur.

I had about 3 months to plan all my purchases which wasn't a bad idea considering the delivery time of some parts.

 

Because I had so long time to acquire all parts I managed to get the SSD, PSU, RAM and Case at a discount.

So I saved a little bit of money and I also got a better PSU (650W instead of the planned 550W). 

 

We will complete the build in a couple of weeks and I plan to include my nephew when building the PC.

That way he will be able to tell his friends that built his first PC by himself (assisted by me).

CPU: i5 11400

MB: ASUS TUF GAMING B560-PLUS (WiFi) 

GPU: ASUS RTX 2060

PSU: CX650F RGB (+80 Bronze)

RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8gb 3200mhz

SSD: Kingston A2000 500gb

Cooler: Pure Rock 2

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300

 

I got a good deal for the GPU, 440eur which by todays market isn't bad for a RTX 2060.
