BIOS UPDATE

Go to solution Solved by Beerzerker,

That may well be the case, BIOS chips can go bad and I've had a few to do it.
Luckily for me I have a BIOS programmer and I can reflash a BIOS and check to see if the chip is defective or not while doing it.

This is similar to what I have, great tool to have around if you need it, plus can be used to go back to an older BIOS file in cases the standard BIOS routine won't allow you to.

There is also a guy that sells BIOS chips, this is the guy I've bought a few from: biosdepot on eBay
Be sure if you use him to tell him what board you've got and he'll send a new one with the latest BIOS file already on it, ready to go.
