8Gb will do you fine, if for some reason you do decide you need more you can buy more later.

MOAR RAM. I just bought another 2 8GB kits to upgrade 2 of my PC's. One of them does run 2 OS's and my main one doesn't actually need it, it's for customisation. But i have been around 75% with 16GB so an extra 8 can't hurt. I'll make a ramdisk or something.

I would look into an upgrade to 16GB later, but 8GB is probably enough depending on what you're doing.

8GB dominator platinum can probably be replaced with a 16GB of the main brands.... Should be enough though.
