Why should companies add an slays on display on their phone???

I am confuse on why does Linus care about always on display on his phone when he has a watch to look at ???

you mean why an always on display is nice? thats because its nice to not have to interact with any buttons or even touch your phone while its on a table or something to see the time and what notifs you've got. Basically, not everyone has a watch.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

One mans feature is another`s annoyance. Some people find it handy some people don`t see the need.
