I have a Velocifire TKL02WS. I've had it for over a year now. Unfortunately the switch on the "W" is kaputt and it can't repeat the press properly. I've heard that some mechanical keyboards switches are replaceable. So, I have two questions here.

1. Is the switch on this keyboard can be replaced?

2. This keyboard has a white backlight on it. Is it mounted on the switch itself or is it mounted on the keyboards PCB?

1. Yes, if you have a soldering iron+ solder sucker/wick or a desoldering gun. You are able to replace it with any switches that uses the Cherry MX footprint and pin layout
2. It's on the keyboard's pcb.

Yea.... I know. But I'm currently saving money to build a pc. If you're curious I'm currently using my laptop keyboard. Btw I'm using an external monitor (tv) so I use a keyboard so I can chuck my laptop in corner of the desk and not being in front of me.

Then unfortunately, your switch are soldered into the pcb, you can't remove it without the aforementioned tools.
