What is a stream deck

I have a Corsair keyboard with the g keys on the side and my friends are telling me to set it up as an legato stream deck but I don’t know what a stream deck dose

a streamdeck is a like a keyboard with keys that can be used for play , pause , esc , enter , new tab , etc... , so it would be good to have if you have a stream overlay adn wanna use it for like a "brb" screen shortcut.

A stream deck is used by streamers as a way of quickly and easily doing things like playing sound effects, changing stream overlays, etc.

 

if you don't stream then you have no use for such functions.

They're just marcos. You wouldn't be setting it up as a Stream Deck; that's an actual device. They just have the wrong terminology.
