Exactly, there is no logic in this world.

That's sort of the thing. The things that make men sexually attracted to women on a level that they don't directly understand are the boobs and hips. These things satisfy the male desire to reproduce because our brains tie these things to fertility and health. i.e. "You have a good chance of kids not dying [i.e. still-birth, lack of nutrients, etc], so I should mate with you."

Men don't actively think that, but our minds are built to consider it at all times around females.

Obviously we don't live in a time where that really matters anymore, but not the point. These are the reasons they are sexual things to us, regardless of what society teaches us.

Genetically speaking, one of the traits that make a mate preferable is breast size, at least according to current literature.

 

I think people who see breasts more often, or are more comfortable with their sexuality, don't ogle them as much. E.g. oncologists, plastic surgeons, and anyone who's been in the BDSM scene.

Because murder has little to do with our personal selves. i.e. Would you feel violated if someone saw you naked? Does it disturb you in any way? If so, that's why sex bothers people. They don't like the idea of violating someone's personal self by seeing them naked. It doesn't matter if they are okay with it. Seeing someone else naked violates both of you unless both are okay with it.

Sex and nudity go together because the primary things you hide are your sexual organs (and boobs are tied to sex because they are tied to babies which come from sex). 

I believe we've already come full circle.

Animals are naked. They always are. That's probably why it doesn't bother us. ... Who cares if the animals "give permission". They're fricking animals. What do they care?

Back in the day sex (And I mean pornographic depictions of sex) was allowed on Danish TV, as a part of a nationwide sexuality course in the public schools. It was broadcasted in the middle of the day, so the schools could watching it during class. A lot of people complained, but atleast i shows that sex isn't always censored. It depends on the context in which is is presented.

 

Why censore sex? While the question is simple, I don't think I would be able to give a simple answer (nor a right one for that matter).

 

One of the answers could be that, we in the western world, live in a culture based upon the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam), wherein sex and nudity has been seen as shamefull and even sinfull. When Adam and Eve first ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they covered their naked bodies, and thereby they made nudity ´evil´. Later on, in the New Testement, Matthew 5:28 & 29 says:

 

28. But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your members than to have your whole body thrown into hell.

Thereby making lust outside of marriage a bad thing.

 

If you read the letters from the first Spanish and portuguese explorers, you will notice that they speak mostely of how all the Sout American indians walks around naked, They nearly always speak of the indians naked bodies before anything else. 

 

Another hypothesis that kinda relates to the cultural one, is the whole idea of discourses. This is not a subject I know a lot about, so I can't really discus it to great lengths. I can recommend reading The History of Sexuality by Michel Foucault, since it explores this very idea (And other ideas aswell)

While there is no anatomical difference between the chest of a male and a female, there is an connotative difference. Womens breasts are traditionally seen as a sexual object, while a mans chest isn't. Therefor womens breasts fall in the same category as genetalia, law wise. This is were all the feminists begin screaming "Objectification!".

I'm not arguing either way, but this sorta  explain why there is a difference.

If there is not difference in the sexual signifigance in  of male or female chests why is touching a female breast grounds for the charge of indecent assault while men don't go to the police if their tops are touched. Rules regarding public behaviour takes into account the feelings of different sensibilities and will attempt to cause the least amount of discomfort by dissallowing behaviour that may be acceptable to some is not held to be acceptable by all.I have the right to regulate the sexual communications that I am subject to I state that the display of female nudity in public is an unwanted communication. If I go to an art gallery and see considerable human nudity I have no complaints. I went voluntarily and I am familar with the human form as a subject of visual arts. However I don't accept such communications in prosaic daily life.

I agree with this. I just don't like seeing another man topless for some reason. It disturbs me just as much as any other form of nudity does. 

I'd prefer we went the opposite direction. Where it's indecent for males to be topless unless at home.
