Hi everyone,

After searching a lot about buying GPU for the first time, I can clearly say that I have no idea what I am doing, I feel like there is a lack of information over the internet for first time users. I am going to add a photo of my pc specs, I would request everyone to please tell me what GPU to buy, I don't want an expensive one, just the one with I can play survival games like greenhell, the forest, stranded deep, valheim etc, I don't have any graphics card at the moment. I have a slim HP tower.

I am a survival games fan. Please help me out.

Best,

Best,

What do you mean by slim?

If it is a narrow computer, most cards won't fit.

You would need a low profile card like a gt 1030

When you say Low profile 1650, do you mean this? GeForce GTX 1650?

It cost over $350, that's expensive.

Yeah because the GPU shortage pretty much makes it impossible to get any cards on the cheap. You gonna need to wait until the ongoing graphics card shortage to be over if you want to get something new and actually delivers performance rather than disappointment.

But if youre feeling adventurous and can stand cutting up your case, you can pick up a used Nvidia Quadro P2000. Its still at 50$-100$ or so and its basically the 1060 3GB with extra 2GB of vram.

Yes i agree with SorryClaire. At the time you cannot get any decent graphic card at a reasonable price. If i am not wrong that graphic card should be about 150$.

This is exactly my CPU. Please suggest.

This is not your "CPU" or anyone else's. The CPU is the Central Processing Unit, it's a specific component of the PC inside that enclosure.

Only low-profile graphics cards would fit inside that system, and you are unlikely to find any worth buying in your budget.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

my only suggestion is you do a browser search for low profile graphics card and then use the shopping button on the screen. At least then you can see what is for sale in your part of the world and for how much.

Please do a browser search of that card for a review to see if its pants or the mutts because all the powerful cards have been bought already and there might be a good reason nobody has bought it yet.

$100-$150. I am still not able to find one graphics card for me. :old-sad:

I would say to wait for this parts shortage to calm down and get a zotac 1650 low profile card, It should cost 150 dollars on under when the prices get better
