-1200W Thermaltake PSU

Ok so for a week or two, I've been tasked with finishing a pc that my boss started building over three months ago. All the parts were here and he had problems with it POSTing before I got my hand on it and at this point, we have bought a new PSU, RAM, CPU, and MoBo. Right now I'm looking at it and the MoBo RGB lights are on but none of the error LEDs are. I know PSU works and is plugged in to everything that needs it. Not sure if the graohics card works but nothing has made me doubt it and I tried a 1080 and it didn't solve anything. RAM I know is seated properly and I've tried every possible slot combo. CPU is right out of the box but also its an old threadripper. I've tried to do everything i can but the only sign of life it's giving is the MoBo RGB when i give it power. Nothing happening when i hit the on board power button or shorting the power switch. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

It's a long shot, but I'd start with a BIOS update if you know all the power connectors are correct. The 2950x wasn't supported on the original BIOS of the board. It's possible you got old stock that hadn't been updated yet.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Does the motherboard have the latest BIOS update?

Not all X399 boards support 2nd gen Threadripper out of the box, and some require a BIOS update.

It should not be too hard to do though - the Zenith Extreme supports BIOS flashback and does not require a supported CPU - as long as you have a USB flash drive that can hold the BIOS file and you can format it to FAT32 you're good.

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.

If the bios update doesn't work, you may want to take everything out of the case and see if you can get a post outside the case.
