Yeah it's a tight fit. Big flat head screw driver and go nuts is all I can tell you. It takes considerable force. Good luck!

Well if you have compressed air, just blow all the crap out the best you can.

Mine didn't come off easy and looked just as dirty as yours.

You get one unclipped and hope it stays unclipped then pry the second one over and it should release.

Yeah, I re-watched the video closely. It was already unclipped. It's FAF Full Bridge rectifier style!

lol. XD

It's a pain. Mine has a few bends for sure too.

And I did not put the fan back on the heat sink.

It's retro-fitted to my Intel sleeper.

Says AMD RGB and Maximus X RGB lol.

Hold on a sec, I'll nab a pic.

it may be too late, but i think if u blow the air out from the back with a dust blower you should get most of the dust out and u can then clean the fans with IPA and paper towels…

I had the same "issue" with an AM3 cooler, which is very old, almost ancient, and i made it look like brandnew that way!

Buy one? They're pretty standard for cleaning. Or, if you can afford it, a proper electric cleaner.
