I would care more if i hadn't just gotten a 1440p panel.

I also hate monitors over 27 inch, they are just too big. 24 inches is perfect. :D

4k at 24" is a little much though.  You can barely use it at that density unless you sit with your face pressed against your monitor.

That's true but still, 27" just seems like I'm in front of a TV instead of a monitor.
