So yes I may sound dumb but I need help with a spreadsheet, I'm making a like sheet with different sections but when I make a box and type with a bigger font the whole line get like wide and I'm wondering is there a way to fix or even bet ter is there a guide somewhere with some formatting tips?

It's normal.

Select the cell and click word wrap.

Word wrap would just make newlines between words, but the cell is always going to grow to encompass all your text.

You probably want to leave extra lines/columns between your sections and maybe merge cells for your labels.

so I take it as it's not fixable in my case?

Its not bug or issue, its the way these software's are intended to be used. They aren't meant for styling sheets, any styling options are more because of faster information processing.

 

So using multiple font sizes on one row will be issue, and you should think of alternative ways to achieve it. Same goes with columns, but I think the issue is smaller. Your option are to leave empty rows/columns or merge cells to position bigger text better.

I managed to kinda fix it by reorganizing the spreadsheet a little and instead of using larger fonts doing them bold looks better and keeps stuff small and tidy
