Hi guys,聽
I want ur opinions from:
A. No problems with that

B. hmm Might work
C. Nop Nop Nop

And why ofc 馃檪

Here is the idea:
EK FLT 120 res聽-> GPU water block -> Pump down below with the PSU.

I rly like the FLT res and the pump under the PSU shroud that was more popular before.

it would look something聽like this

image.png.d450475eed9252c4aac8ea87df333813.png

I know that every1 says that the res should be direct to the pump, but gravity will still do its thing here right

Should be fine, just be careful not to run the pump dry when filling, ie, ensure that gravity does take the water all the way down to the pump before turning it on.

Yeah its fine, as long as the liquid makes it into the pump then the GPU block is the res.

Should be fine BUT it does depend on the components you will be using. What card will be cooled by what block?

Also that ek rez is meant to have a pump in there so I don't know why you wouldn't use it for what it is made to do?

its not. ur thinking of another unit

It literally says it on the page

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-flt-120-ddc-pwm-d-rgb-plexi

But what gpu will be cooled and by what block? More so that you don't overwhelm the 120mm rad/pick a wrong block for the card as users have run into with more brands starting to put out blocks.

this is the FLT 120 res聽

FLT120DDC聽 or pump/res combo is another "line"

this is the card im hopping to get before the year 2030 馃槢

Fair enough I only got google results for the pump combo one nothing about a non pump one.

That card will work just make sure the rad is a normal sized one at least and not a slim one to allow for some more heat absorption. That and use a proper fan like a artic p12 or 14 depending on what size rad you choose.

With this I can fully say your setup is good to go.

Nice,聽
5x Arctic P12 ARGB and a EK 360 and 240rad rdy to gooo.

Edit: and the reason for not going with the pump unit, i dont like the look of pumps 馃槢

Oh hey they just launched those. From what I know they are a teeny tiny bit worse performing than their non rgb counterparts and that is it. Still basically noctua performance and silence whilst having great pressure for rads.

Oh so you are doing a full loop? Cool that is basically enough cooling for anything.

yes from my testing they are not as good as the P12's. but still the best RGB/ARGB fan i have tested. and i think that they are the best in the world 馃槢

They are like at worst a degree worse and that is simply because of the rgb stuff in them nothing else.

Yeah they are super cheap, look really good come in 2 layouts for rgb too and have noctua performance + silence. That is the dream combo there for people that wanted rgb but didn't want to fork out extra money for fans that are also good for their rads.

Yes but.. there is a big but here. The P12 ARGB's has a "connecting" ring, linking the fan blades together. like coolermaster has done on therir fans.聽

Another big thing, the humming / higher pitch noise from the P12 and P120-ARGB is gone on the P12-ARGB

Oh sweet. I was already glad that the weird fan noise the p12 had was just a bad batch and that it only had some odd humm at a specific speed which is easy to avoid. Didn't know the ring design cause it to just be gone which is even better.
