wifi router advice

since my wifi router is an all in one fiber/ transmitter box from the networking company. Can any one please suggest a wifi router for me that can cover around 100 square meter radius ( must work with 1000 mbps speed) because right now I pay for 1000 mbps internet but only getting around 35 on my laptop (gs75 stealth with Killer Wireless-AC 1550i) and I am sitting next to the wifi router

Do you get better results when you use an lan cable?

Maybe it isnt the router, because while i dont like the isp routers they arent that bad.

The thing is I tried lan and the speed is roughly like 700 mbps also as a side note my s21 ultra only gets around 60 as well 

 

 

Ps. Oem has 2 antenna

while killer wireless ac 1550i is good, the internal antenna of your laptop could be the bottleneck, it's always suck in my experience and maybe you can use usb wifi dongle that has an actual antenna like for example this one

 

And maybe upgrade your router with high gain antenna, as for my recommendation

Just to note that no router can work across 100m with constant high speed unless you're using wifi mesh topology

A few things. If your right next to the router there is this thing called an Ethernet cable, its your best friend. ALSO WiFi 5 cant do Gigabit speeds. I think 866 Mbps is like the fasted "Rated" speed it can do, but thats in a laboratory. In the real world you're lucky to get 2/3s of that. When using WiFi you need to learn to set your expectations accordingly. 

 

Im sure WIFi 6 might come a bit closer to that 1 Gbps number, but your laptop has a WiFi 5 card in it, and it will need to be upgraded to do WiFi 6 and even there there are no guarantees when it comes to WiFi.

If a wired connection directly to the ISP gateway only gives you 700/1000Mbps that you're paying for, you need to take that up with your ISP.
