AIO 360mm Wiring Help

I have a nubee question about how to wire the pump and radiator fans.  Do I just connect the pump power cable to the CPU OPT header and connect the 3 fans (chained) to the CPU FAN header on the mobo? Is it that simple?

It will depend on WHICH AIO you bought/have.

Some of them allows you to connect the fan(s) directly to the block/pump, and then it's just 1 cable that goes to a fan header.

So I have a ID-Cooling Zoomflow 360mm which has two separate wires from the pump, ARGB, and power.  My mobo has an CPU OPT header and CPU FAN header.

Okay, the ID-Cooling Zoomflow AIOs do not connect the fans through the pump.

The AIO should come with fan splitter adapter cables.

You can use those to connect more than one fan per fan header.

 

Looks like a 3-to-1 fan splitter is included in the accessories with the AIO.

From the looks of it, the pump is powered via a SATA connection.

The ARGB header controls the light on the pump, and that, well...connects to a AGB header on the motherboard.

I have a Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC motherboard.  I plugged the power lead of the AIO pump into the CPU_OPT header and the 3 radiator fans into the CPU_FAN header using the included 3 to 1 harness and all seems to be working well.  The radiator is front mounted in my mid-tower Corsair Crystal 570X case.  I also adjusted the fan curve of the three 120mm radiator fans to be a bit more aggressive to maintain slight positive case pressure.  For exhaust I have two 140mm fans at the top of the case and one 120mm fan at the back.
