Bit of a strange one for you guys

i have 2 builds both with new identical mobos one has a 3600x cpu and one has a 5800x cpu 3600x one crashs at random intervals but if i swap the cpus around both run completely fine does anyone know how this could happen because i want my cpu back from my wife lol

what crashes? Do you have any errors given? BSOD codes?

no bsods it just crashs randomly even when idle whats wierd is i can still move my curser but cant do anything

need more to go on.. crashes is very very generic. Be as descriptive as you can with as much detail as possible.

ok if spotify is playing then it just loops the same second of song over and over, i can move my mouse but cant click anything and i cant summon the task manager i have to hold power button to reset and screen looks fine no wierdness there
