PSU FOR MY BUILD

hey guys. i need a psu for my build. i want to buy a rtx 3070 or 3060 ti with intel core i5 11400f

my budget is 50-100$.

this specific PSU is complete garbage due to numerous issues assositated with it, including but not limited to, explosive.

wouldnt suggest getting that either due to it being a known transient sensetive unit, and may trip with some high current and high transient GPUs.

Gamer's Nexus is currently investigating at least one model of gigabyte PSU that catches fire. They've posted teasers of it sparking. I would personally avoid them until its sorted out.

To get my 3070 I had to buy it bundled with this PSU. I had it in my brother's first desktop until I learned about it possibly burning the house down... Pretty much never trusting a non corsair/evga/seasonic PSU again.

why would you trust Corsair, EVGA and Seasonic when they are also susceptible to encounter the exact same issues......

 

how about judging units induvidually instead of based on the sticker. As pointed out earlier, Gigabyte has decent PSUs aswell. and at the same time Corsair, EVGA and Seasonic all have bad powersupplies.........

Expected delivery is on the 17th. Not sure if you can get much faster delivery than that, especially this close to the weekend

Yes, and? Its not like the 80+ rating is all that important.
