Budget (including currency): Cheaper is better about 1000USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft and streaming at same time, maybe other games. Hoping for good stream fps(Around 60)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Probably going to play on hypixel Minecraft and would like a drag clicking mouse. I like RGB lighting that is customizable, I have the razer cynosa chroma keyboard. I was thinking of Model O as a mouse.

Will attach some screenshots of pc partpicker(ignore the logitech mouse, I just put that as a placeholder price). I want a good gpu, but they all cost so much rn.

Don't upload pictures, just give us the parts. Just copy and past the BB info when you're looking at the build.

From what I can see:

  • No SSD = instant fail
  • Don't get that CPU cooler, get an air cooler or larger AIO

Thx for the advice, sorry about the images and stuff, I'm new to the forum and pcs. Can I just skip the cpu cooler if needed, since the case comes with cooling? Also are any of the pcs you listed good for live streaming and playing minecraft at the same time?

No, you need a CPU cooler of some sort. If the CPU comes with one you can use that, they're just not usually the quietest things.

I don't know what's needed for steaming so I'm not sure.

If all you're doing is streaming Minecraft, then you might actually benefit more from a 5600X than a 3700X, as Minecraft is very dependent on single core performance (which Zen 3 is currently the king of). AIOs for either chip is overkill, and the one you selected would actually do a bit worse than some air coolers; A Hyper 212 would be enough for either chip. A 500GB NVMe Gen 3 SSD should run you about $70 right now, and will make your system boot times, snappiness, and game load times exponentially better than just using that HDD.

If time isn't much of a concern to you, I'd suggest subscribing to Newegg's Shuffle system for a chance at something like a 3060. On there, they typically go for no more than $500, and a 3060 is pretty much on par with a 2070 Super anyways, so I'd call it fair.

-Get a 5600x over a 3700x. A 11400f/11400 + a B560 board is a good substitute.

-AIO is unecessary, and crap. Drop that, use the stock cooler.

-RAM is way to overpriced and overkill. Just get a 3200mhz CL 16 - 14 Kit.

-Please get an SSD, for your sanity

-That GPU should be worth more than $350. Just wait for a 3060/3050ti.

-Case is not great, I’d get a P360A as a replacement

-PSU is pretty bad

Thanks so much for the help. So the cpu comes with its own cooler right? I'll just use that, I didn't know.

Is the

Seagate BarraCuda 510 250 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive a good ssd?

I'm not really sure what u mean by 3200mhz CL 16 - 14 Kit(I'm a noob at this stuff) but is

Silicon Power 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL19 Memory good?

Do you have like average prices i need for each so I can judge which are good?

So here is the revised list I made:

Also change the SSD to an A2000

• B450 boards don't have support for PCIe Gen 4, so I'd recommend something like this to at least give you the headroom for future cards if you end up going 20 Series.

• That RAM kit would murder the 5600X, a 3200MHz CL16 kit should go for like $85.

• You can go from 250GB to 500GB for $15ish more, really no reason not to.
