How should I mount my AIO? Tubes down or Tubes up

BerkayZ87

I will buy a new AIO, Galahad 360. But I can't decide how should I mount this AIO for front panel. Tubes up or tubes down. I will do pull-push. Both of these mount is OK to my case, Lancool II Mesh.

Which mount is better for AIOs on front panel?

would not matter, in other builds.

the issue is, the pump if it doesn't hold its own liquid, the radiator has to be higher up to supply the pump with water.

A small case of AIOs might have the pump else where.

only upside with tubes down, is that you know they are filled with water and not air getting through.

Yes, it mostly depends on the AIO, but the vast majority are designed in such a way that it should always be tubes down. Off the top of my head, the Be Quiet Pure Loop has a pump design that allows for tubes up.

tubes down if it's possible but honestly, it doesn't matter that much as long as the pump is not the highest point in the loop, you're fine
