Windows taking 2-3 minutes to boot with few startup apps, and Samsung 970 Evo.

D4rK3sTsH4d0W

I've taken basically everything I don't need, off the startup list, and I have a fast modern nvme ssd. Cpu is ryzen 9 3900x, so that shouldn't be an issue. I can't think of anything causing boot times to be so high. It sits on the windows loading screen for about 2 minutes before fully loading. If anyone could give some advice that would be great. If you need any information let me know

A bad hard drive can do that.

It's been happening for about 2 months now. I don't think i've changed my hardware in that time, but I do have 5 internal drives and 1 external, not related to the os, but maybe an influence. I've tried error correcting the drive, but that failed. I tried an error correction before windows boot and that crashes and goes into windows boot

I've had 1 die already. bought a bunch of used 3tb drives on the cheap, so not to worried about them if one's dying again
