Best closed back headphones for music under $200?

DCWalt

Looking for closed back, over ear headphones (not a headset) primarily for music listening.

Right now I'm looking at the Sennheiser HD 569 but have also considered Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm. I'm ok with flat studio monitors because I can EQ but I would prefer something with a bit of color to start with. Something with good bass; tight and present but not in your face and something with clear vocals. I'm not looking for audiophile grade headphones or anything but best I can get for the price and something that isn't loaded down with floppy bass like beats.

any thoughts or suggestions?

Sennheiser HD 400s

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Akg k371 is one of my favorite closed backs right now. The ath m40x is on eof the more reliable headphones that lean neutral with a bit of bass. The meze 99 noir is great if you like a more consumer bassy sound signature but tuned well. I really would not reccomend getting any dt 770 that isn't 250 ohm or higher.

highly underrated headphone if you like bass and the rare biodynamic driver on it makes it a really excellent fun headphone
