Laptop not responding and heating up

Sizwe

I took my laptop for repair and they told me that it was a faulty hard drive. They replaced it for me and installed windows on it but now it’s just stuck on the desktop and I can’t do anything. The taskbar is black and I can’t open edge. I can’t open the startup menu and I can’t even search for apps. The laptop is heating up and the fan is spinning very fast. This is what it looks like. Please help

Does it respond to keyboard input?

ctrl+alt+del?

ctrl+shft+esc?

No, it doesn’t respond to anything. The only thing that seems to work is the pointer, and I can’t even click on anything, it just moves around

It’s not the first time I turn it on, I restarted it multiple times after getting repaired and I still got the same problem. It has been like this for around 3 hours now. It’s an Asus vivobook S15. I don’t have the model number but it’s a 2018 model with an 8th gen core i7
