R15 should work fine, but I thought that R20 would too... If you can, let me know if it ends up working, I wasn't aware of problems running Cinebench on Win7.

Since Windows 7 reached EOL I would really suggest upgrading to Windows 10. Trying to keep windows 7 running is pointless. The OS is over 10 years old, software support will get worse.

r15 works fine.

Dont feel pressured into purchasing W10, W7 still runs fine for the vast majority of software and without suffering from most of the data gathering added in W10 and reduced user control.

Whether or not Windows 7 should be used was not the question. If it's their main computer then yes, an upgrade is advised, but if it's not their main computer then Windows 7 is fine.

I really don't think so. I've seen some really old hardware running windows 10 without any weird problems. What are the specs of your laptop?
