Budget (including currency): No more than $1100 US Dollars + $100 for monitor

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games: Modern Warfare, RS6, Forza Horizon 4, The Crew 2, Apex Legends.

Tasks: Many tabs open and casting to multiple displays

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): buying within 3 weeks, resolution at 1440p/ maybe 4k if in budget, refresh rate at 120 or 144.

 

 

 

I would include a list but I suck at picking parts and I am already blowing the bank on doing it my self

$1,250 I'd consider as entry level with an all-new system, any less and you're really pushing it. Normally I'd recommend $1,000-$1,100 for a decent config WITHOUT a GPU. With one, just brings all new price concerns.

 

Realistically you won't be able to push 1440p at 120hz or 144hz until the $1,500+ range (except for esports titles). You're more likely to be pushing like 85-100Hz in AAA games.

imo i5 11400 + b560 is a better choice in this case.

Also, get a better SSD, like an sn550

Imo its not worth while to get the 10600K when you can just disable the turbo timer on the bios or through force installed XTU and basically get the same turbo speed. That cut alone pretty much puts in a 3070 in the budget.

Not a good time to be buying a new system. GPU are difficult to find and often very overpriced.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
