Stretch your budget for this. Please PLEASE don't pay that much for a 1st gen i5 and 16gb ddr3. If you really want those parts, get em off ebay. Will be like 10x cheaper for the cpu

This is a terrible computer and extremely overpriced for what it is. That cpu is worth like 5$ and NOT a gaming capable cpu anymore. Ram is also NOT compatible. Ssd is also low quality and too small for basic use

Go with @davemc's build, but drop the HDD, or replace it and the 128GB SSD with a 256GB SSD.

It's not worth the money, true, but it's not incapable of playing games.

A 128GB SSD is not too small for basic use.

Anything modern is not going to run well if at all on that cpu.

It won't run as well as something new, but it doesn't fail to run completely Even in GTA5 you'll still push over 60fps.
