It supports Q-Flash, so you don't need the cpu to update the bios.

I want to get a 5800x with a GIGABYTE X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI.

I understand that the MB may need a bios update.   
Do I need a Zen 2 Cpu to update the bios? or can I do it with the new one or without a cpu at all?

I won't lie gigabyte bios upDATE IS SOMTIME A PAIN BUT IF U WATch the vid above it should work
