Hello, im new to forums i general so plz bare with me. Now i have a problem with my cpu cooling. I have an AMD A10-5800k, and every time i try to overclock just a little to get just a little more power it starts to hoverheat like crazy with the stock cooler. I know overclocking and stock coolers are a big no-no but sometimes tht extra boost of power is what i need for work (who am i kidding in a race for fps every Hz counts;) ). Now heres the troublesome part, due to my kingston hyper ex memory wich is has a fairly huge profile i cant fit an air cooler on top of my cpu, and i have no idea what water cooler brands to trust, plus i can only fit a 120mm radiator. After some research i found Corsair H80i, but its out of stock on the only site i can buy it from in my country (ukraine). So if anyone can recomend me a good  120mm water cooler for my pc id be very grateful. Here's my setup if its gonna help... case- cooler master k380, MB- gigabyte ga-f2a85x-d3h, cpu AMD A10-5800k, RAM- 4 sticks of Kingston HyperX Predator ddr3-1866 (4GB). Thx for any help. BTW, Linus i love ur channel!

You're seriously considering getting a 90$ cooler for your 100$ CPU? I suggest you keep that money for your next upgrade, maybe get a GPU if you don't have one. If you really want a better cooler, get something like a CM Hyper 212.

For APU's with a discrete GPU, I'd put the money elsewhere unless your after a quieter system.

If its an APU using the onboard (see link below), then this is a great reason for the best of the best CPU cooling options to be applied.

Saying a $90 cooler on top of a $100 CPU is pointless, is pointless for "whoever" says it, not withstanding the OP doesn't want to upgrade the rest of his system no doubt...

The D-14 or various AIO watercooling, should lessen the heat & DB levels compared to any stock fan cooling.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

According to my calculations the hyper 212 wont fit due to the huge memory profile...thats why im looking for a water cooling solution. it takes up less space and rom what i hear its quite efficient.

H80's are cheap, can you pick one of them up instead? You could always wait till they're in stock though. I'd recommend changing the fans out on them though, the stock ones are kind of garbage.

@ Everyone else, he can use the AIO cooler with the next CPU he gets.

the H80i is a good choice, but you should upgrade something else first.
