My ADD makes it difficult for me to make things short - but I will sincerely try.

Built a new computer yesterday/today. Fired it up, it posted and started up! I've never gone the RGB route, and I seem to have run two into two issues.

The build;
Corsair H4000 RGB Case (3 included front RGB case fans 120mm)
Corsair H115i Pro RGB 280mm AIO cooler. 2 RGB Fans  140mm
Asus Prime Z590

(other stuff, kind of irrelevant to my issues)

When I booted it up - the three front fans lit up but wont spin. The two fans on the cooler spin but don't light up.

I THINK I understand what I did wrong with the top fans.

On the cooling block that attaches to the CPU, there was a USB port to plug in which I did. Then there was two cords on the IN OUT line side that appear to be the same pin setup as a fan. The two fans up on the radiator only have ONE female end, which I connected to the CPU block coolers male ends. My only other guess is that they (the radiator fans) should have been plugged into the Corsair controller on the side of the case to sync with iCue. But then, those two ends on the block go where?

The FRONT fans, I'm having an issue with not spinning.

That I think is my fault in the power;

I have one of these I purchased;
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07RW5TGT4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That I have plugged in. In the BIOS I'm not detecting the three front case fans that are plugged into that unit, which means I've probably not connected the Red end of the unit to the right port.
On the Asus Prime Z590, where should I be plugging that for power from? I just want to be sure I don't just have a dead piece before.

TL;DR
New guy doesn't know wtf he's doing with RBG and all these fan connections and likely needs to rearrange some cables and figure out where on earth the two off the AIO block cooler go

It looks like the device needs power from a Molex connector (that's the 4 large round pins on the end of the unit.)

Then a cable from the mobo to plug into the red fan header, then everything else goes in to the other fan headers on that device.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

I vaguely recall Corsair making two line of rgb stuff that weren’t compatible with each other.  What little I know about computer rgb may well be out of date.  I know zero about argb for example.  Could be that.  Might not be.  I don’t know.  Nor do I know anything about asus compaitibility with Corsair stuff. The “shoot em all and let god sort it out” solution would be to put stuff on controllers you know are compatible that connect to usb.  A rather 90’s solution. Also not especially cheap.  I understand the Corsair rgb software is called iCUE and apparently still has bugginess issues.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
