The alternative tho is to draw the air from inside the case which isn't going to be any better option.

If it were my system, after making sure everything in the case is working properly, I would take a dremel to that joke of a grill.

It should be fine like that as long as the rest of the system cooling is setup to properly exchange the air.

Did you get the "limited edition" upside down writing on the box version?
