And if your goal is speed, aim for ICs, not XMP profiles. For the ammount you put in the suggested build, you can get fancy Rev B kits....... 

4 DIMMS with 4000MHz is really hard to pull off since the IMC on most CPUs cannot handle it, worse yet if the motherboards traces is designe in a way where 2 DIMMs is prefered then you may only hit 2933MHz or 3066MHz when you use 4 of em or put them in the wrong slot...

 

Rev B & E is fine but I am not sure OP is interested in manual tuning of the system.

The 5600X you selected is fine, or if you wanted to save some money you could look at the R5 3600 which is still a good cpu although it will be a bit slower.

 

If you are not bothered about overclocking the cpu then the Intel i5 10400/11400 etc are good value when paired with a B560/Z590 board.

As for the gpu they are pretty hard to get at the moment. You can use the onboard graphics but you won't really be able to play games at decent settings. Even 2nd hand gpu prices are crazy at the minute.

Maybe try and set up some stock alerts or keep an eye on ebay etc for 2nd hand. Just make sure you don't get ripped off. You can use google to check price history.

one does not need to run 4 dimms in a 4 dimm slot board. 

 

also a fair number of IMCs these days can do 2 ranks per channel at 4000mhz fairly easily.

afaik any recent daisy chain topology board does not have these issues. B350, sure. but thats rather old at this point.

because decent old GPUs go for less than what you offered to overpay for memmory

then why would you ever overpay for fancy memmory kits........ OP is better of aiming for cheaper XMP kits. the extra money saved is better spent on literally anything else. even if you wanted to use the iGPU.

Okay what GPU can you get that is better than UHD 750(Xe) that is cheaper? And in the USAofA where do you even find it? Last time I checked PCPARTPICKER the GT1030 was over 150$ now take the cheaper RAM kit + the 160$+ and see which is more expensive?

HD 7850/7870 (7950/7970, or R9 280). used market offcourse. i dont see why anyone would consider buying something new.

i wont entertain a dumb purchasing decision. just like a i wont entertain spending 215$ on memmory instead of 155$ on a cheaper 32gb kit and a cheap old GPU for 55$. 

 

good news is, you can even resell the old GPU for 40$ after the GPU shortage, or keep it around for whenever you might need a secondary GPU. 

 

 

in other words, buy used. You can get some decent cheap GPUs these days that arent being gobbled up by miners, as they have too little memmory and are too inefficient.

Ah yes the new vs used dilemma honestly if the OP want a good GPU now tough why not prebuilt? There are some risks with those but in the current market if buying used is the only choice then maybe going for some reputable prebuilt is better?
