Need help for my first pc build

I want to start streaming and also have a great gaming experience. Games I will be playing include Warzone, Valorant, Overwatch, Minecraft, League of Legends, R6 Siege, Outer Worlds, and many others.

I have a 144hz monitor which I'd like to use to the fullest. 

Monitors

I only have 1 monitor that's 1080p 144hz. I plan on using more than one in the future. 

Peripherals

I still need to purchase keyboard, mouse, and windows. But I want the budget to be exclusively for the PC.

You can go for a x570 motherboard or you are in budget then go for b460 and if you are going with b460 you don't need 3600mhz ram , 3000 or lower frequency ram will work  and also need a SSD storage for boot drive like upto 500 or 240 gb  and if you are going for x570 then you need a better Power supply (pls see the number of connector pins required to the motherboard and select the power supply ), and for GPU you must wait for price to fall down .

No need for X570 for most people, and B460 is an Intel chipset so that wouldn't work with the 5600X. Also you wouldn't need a better psu for X570. The extra cpu connector is optional.

You don't need to overpay for 4000MHz Ram. A 3200 - 3600 kit is about $60 cheaper.

2 dimm boards has best support for high RAM speeds, there is also M-ITX boards but for a 4 DIMM board higher than 3600MHz can be problem. Main goal is to make sure the iGPU has fast RAM so it will perfrom best possible since as we know iGPU uses system RAM as VRAM!

The amount of dimm slots isn't the issue. The board is terrible in terms of VRM. Even some ASRock Z490/Z590 entry boards are terrible in that respect.

 

As for the igpu then gaming on that will be terrible. Sure it will run Fortnite at 1080p low settings but the op wants to play the Outer Worlds and other games. Also he mentions that he isn't in a rush, so he is better off waiting and trying to get a gpu even if it is something 2nd hand.

The i5 11500 doesn't have Xe graphics.

 

There is no current shortage on HDD's/SSD's.

 

Nobody can predict when the gpu shortage will end, so saying 2022 or 2023 is pointless. People are managing to find cards so it isn't an impossibility.

11500 DOES INDEED HAVE Xe GRAPHICS!

UHD 730 & 750 are both based on Xe and is superior to many Vega iGPUs not better than best but it beat some of them.

That video proves my point. Steve mentions in the conclusion that even a GT 1030 GDDR5 is a better option than the igpu. He pretty much says the igpu is only good enough for fortnite (and presumably other esports titles) on low settings at 1080p.

 

The op lists Outer Worlds in his opening post. The igpu isn't going to cut it for titles like that.

 

His best option if he wants something soon is to go with a prebuild. Not usually the way to do it, but some places have gpu's that are allocated to pre-built systems.

True but that may end up with broken drives, stuff glued on and other retardations such as 1 stick of memory or a terrible Windows install so bad Windows must be re-installed and lets not forget fire-hazard power supply?

What ? As long as you buy from a reputable store then I don't see any issue. Any good pc store should let you make changes to the build.

What would you recommend for an amd build (Motherboard/GPU/CPU Combo)? I don't know what vram is and a lot of other stuff. I read all these responses and I'm very confused.

Nope........ Moving to 2 dimms really isnt worth it unless you want to do 5100mhz or greater memmory speeds. But even that can be done on quad dimm slot boards with good traces. 

 

2 dimms is better for overclocking, but it doesnt matter for any typical user. Including people who overclock normally

 

And if your goal is speed, aim for ICs, not XMP profiles. For the ammount you put in the suggested build, you can get fancy Rev B kits.......
