That curve is intentional, it's a feature:

Curved edge
DDR4 modules feature a curved edge to help with insertion and alleviate stress on the PCB during memory installation.

The dimm slots to pupulate would probably be in the manual. Almost always, it is the farthest from the CPU and the slot two to the left of it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I have looked in the manual and there is no indication whatsoever.

If you use CPU-z in windows, it will tell you if the ram is running in dual channel or single channel. Worst case scenario, you can test different configs.

Factory came with populated in white slot closest to cpu. Knew I was getting another and didn't bother changing since was single ram. Just put second in other white furthest from cpu and is running dual channel so all is well.
