Hi, I currently own a custom built pc with built in bluetooth and wifi. I have used this system for one month without any issues at all until yesterday when my pc just randomly restarted and my bluetooth disappeared, I've tried all the fixes I have found only to no avail. I even reset my installation of windows which also provided nothing. I currently use an asus b550-m plus (WiFi) mobo with a ryzen 5 5600x and a rx 590. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

This is meaningless without telling us what those "fixes" are.

In the future please try to make your thread title something descriptive of the actual problem. Every day there are multiple threads posted with titles that are just variations of "help me pls".

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Apologies, those fixes were uninstalling drivers, installing them, unplugging the atenna that comes with it, trying my bluetooth dongle I had for my old pc, restarting the pc. Pretty much all of these

Have you tried flashing your motherboard bios to the latest version? That might fix the problem, also I would ensure you have the latest motherboard drivers installed as well.

I've just done this, sadly to no avail, I have installed the latest drivers to which didn't fix the issue either

A few things come to mind if common bluetooth fixes don't work:

  • Is bluetooth disabled in the Windows Power Plan settings
  • Is the feature disabled in Add or Remove Windows Features
  • Is bluetooth disabled in the BIOS(if the options exists)

Yeah these didn't work either, I tried to disable then enable the bluetooth controller in the bios to see if that would work, it didn't lmao.
