Should i go with Asus or ASRock?

Im going to get a b550 MOBO and im not sure which manufacturer to buy from.

Pick whichever has the better features for the price. Personally, things I look for in a mobo are PCIe layout, built in wifi, dual bios, and USB-C. Could help if you link what models you're looking at.

You can always read reviews on the ones you're interested in.  Not sure if you have Google or Youtube access in your region.

 

I prefer Gigabyte motherboards personally.  Have for years, cuz Ultra Durable appeals to me for some reason.

the exact model of board matters more than the company. Brand determines the software side of things, but only some of them and not at all hardware.

B450 boards are at best, on par with the worse bunch of B550 though, pretty big difference between these two.
