What Motherboard should I use for this build?

Go to solution Solved by Henry2026,

Go with the cheaper board. I also want you to know that this build is around 2 years old.

Budget (including currency): probably under 800€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Sims4, Minecraft(java), work from home stuff

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'd say I am quite experienced building PCs, but today I am planning a build for a friend and maybe u could help me with my part list.

Until now:
- I5 9600K

- Mushkin DIMM 16 GB DDR4-2666 Kit (first i wanted to go but cpu doesnt support faster than 2666mhz)
- be quiet! Pure Rock Slim or Scythe Katana 5

- ADATA SWORDFISH 500 GB
- Corsair CV550 550W

- Cooler Master MasterBox MB400L

- not sure about monitor yet

Now to my big question:
The Mobo is ether expensive and capable of overclocking: GIGABYTE Z390 M
or it is cheaper but I can't overclock: GIGABYTE B365M DS3H / ASUS PRIME B365M-A

I only ever overclocked my GPU, so maybe I'm being to careful with the motherboard selection. But yea help is appreciated.
You've probably noticed, that theres no gpu. The plan is to use the Intel HD 630 APU and buy a reasonably priced GPU after the shortages and stuff.

Sorry if my English isn't perfect, it's my second language

Edit: No peripherals needed. 75hz refresh rate and buying at alternate
